A photo ID card allows the company or office security to keep a check on who comes and goes and also prevents employees and guests from entering restricted areas. These cards are a very important security measure and this is the responsibility of the employers that everyone is given a detailed identification badge.

Why are ID Badges so important?

They are really important at the office and factory premises for a number of reasons:

• It allows the security personnel to easily recognise the employees.

• If there are visitors to the premises then they can be given visitor IDs which allows them to be easily recognised.

• It prevents unwanted people from entering the building or even accessing restricted areas.

• It allows employees to know who they are talking to. By this we mean an employer can easily know the name of the employee, making him feel special and known which can do a lot to the morale of the workers.

• These cards allow the tracking and movement of the personnel throughout the building as they will be checked at every entry and exit point.

• These plastic ID cards allow the employees to feel a part of the organisation as only a few people are given the company cards.

• Important cards like licenses, membership cards, loyalty cards, hospital cards, association cards, school and university cards, etc all require photo identification.

Some types of Security Cards:

Badges or Name Tags

These are used for seminars, conferences, expos, etc for easy recognition when people come from all over and thus keeping a track becomes difficult. These badges have personal information like name, company, age, town and on the back some important medical information like emergency contact number, blood group, etc are all written.

Photo ID Cards

These cards have photos which are laminated and even have official stamps so that they cannot be duplicated and there is no fraud. Also the person who is the owner of the card makes sure that it is well taken care of as otherwise they will be held accountable.

Smart Cards/Plastic Cards

These are specialised cards with magnetic strips that allow access to particular doors. This is a great option for high security areas or places like prison, hospital, laboratories, etc. Many hackers and trackers try to override these cards and so security companies have to develop very high quality cards. These smart cards also have a combination of hardware, software, communication and operating systems.

Google’s search indexing algorithms are a closely-guarded secret , and their formulas for rewarding page content, meta-data, links, click-throughs and other cyber esoterica are complex and ever-changing, constantly reversing the fortunes of publishers competing for SEO supremacy.
